Our second Copperfox Photo Show of the year received lots of entries, all with the theme of a Stable Scene. There were so many creative entries; we were surprised and totally wowed by the response! To see all the entries, please visit our Facebook Album here. There was just too many to upload to our blog this time!
Firstly, I would like to say a HUGE well done to everyone who entered. You all are extremely creative, with oodles of talent and vision. Your photography skills have to be mentioned too. Beautiful angles, backgrounds and lots of details that make entries look real, you have to look twice! Well Done everyone!
So, now comes the exciting bit. Who is the winner of our March Photo Show? The winner is:
We loved this entry, so much so we had to look twice as it looks so real! It’s packed with attention to detail, from the stone cobbles on the floor to the little window at the back (complete with a view to the outside), this entry has recreated a realistic stable scene in miniature. The lighting on this picture is beautiful too, with a soft light that you would find indoors and the way it casts shadows onto the horse and the surrounding stall dividers really gives the picture that “real” look. Well done!
This entry is a window or a sneak peek as to what goes on at the stable yard! This entry has lots of in scale details like the brickwork, flooring, stall dividers- even the sign on the door! The plaits on the model are brilliant and we really loved the realistic feathering on the horse.
We really liked this entry, not only because it features our very own Copperfox Henrietta but the way she is munching quite happily on her haynet (which would be very typical of a pony like Henrietta!). A really lovely composition, with a well turned out model horse and beautiful surroundings.
This entry is another realistic picture and definitely a stable scene! We loved all the little details in this one, from the horses name plates on their doors, to the pieces of straw on the floor under the doorways. The angle of the picture is brilliant too. You can really imagine someone standing at the end of the stalls saying “Smile” as they take the picture!
We wanted to give this entry a special mention. We loved the little Copperfox catalogue, complete with the names of models on the pages and the Union Jack front cover. This image we had to print off and it's taken pride of place on the office notice board! :)
A big thank you to everyone who entered. Keep on being creative and taking pictures of your models. Our theme for April is a Riding Outdoors, so get your thinking caps on and see what you can create.
Be creative, Let your imaginaton run wild and most importantly, have fun!
